GCSE Exam Results 2019

Abbot Beyne School are once again celebrating excellent GCSE results.

A statement from Mrs Stoddart said “These results are a testament to the grit and determination our whole school community has demonstrated to ensure that all students achieved their best. It also reflects our consistent focus on our mantra ‘Everyone a Learner, Everyone Learning’.

All of our students are to be congratulated on their results and we wish them all the best in the next stage of their learning journey.” Within our small cohort of students, nearly one fifth  of the grades were 9, 8 or 7.

Highest Achieving students:

Nancy Criddle:                     Seven grade 9s and two Grade 8s

Charlotte Warren-French: Seven grade 9s, One grade 8; One grade 7

Alex Young:                           Five grade 9s, three grade 8s, one grade 7

Daniel Dryden:                     Two grade 9s, 4 grade 8s, 2 grade 7s and a A* with distinction in additional Maths


Other notable successes include:

Aleksandra Walusiak:        Six grade 8s, 2 grade As, one 6 and one 5

Molly Gould:                          Three grade 8s, Five grade 7s and one grade 6

Ryan Phillips:                       Five grade 8s, Two grade 7s and Two grade 6 and a Grade C

Jude Richards:                    One grade 9, Four grade 8s, One grade 7, one grade 6

Lena Foster:                         One grade 9, Three grade 8s, One grade 7, Three grade 6s
