A Level Results 2019

We are celebrating another excellent set of A Level results with an average grade of a C and a 100% student retention rate. These high levels of performance reflect our focus on learning coupled with the personalised support that ensures our learners develop the key skills they need to succeed at ‘A’ level. All our students are now able to continue with the next phase of their learning – the majority at university. This is a truly fabulous achievement by our students and staff.

Our top performing students were:-

Imogen Keyte: Biology (A*), Maths (A) and Chemistry (A).

Imogen has worked with deep commitment and focus during her A Level studies. She will be starting a degree in Medicine at Birmingham University in September. Imogen was one of our Head students and successfully juggled study and her leadership duties to achieve her stunning results.

Sharib Razzaq: History (A*), IT (Distinction*) and English Literature (B).

Sharib’s hard work has won him excellent results and means that he is eligible for adjustment through UCAS. This means he is now able to choose an IT course at one of our top universities.

Charlotte Johnson: Geography (A), Sport (Distinction) and History (B)

Great Learning Journey:

Wiktoria Hendel and Wiktoria Myslicka arrived in the UK with little English. Both girls have worked hard through their GCSEs and achieved results that enabled them to continue with  A Levels at Abbot Beyne. Maintained focus and drive, along with improvements in their English ensured great results today. The girls are now off to University to study Interior Design & Law.

Irsa Hussain, Head student, is following an Apprentice route, studying Accountancy with PWC.

This is, once again, an impressive set of results and students, teachers and parents should be proud of what has been achieved.

We wish all our students every success in the next stage of their learning and lives.
